Opportunities: Canadian Society of Landscape Architects Congress 2009 and 75th Anniversary
ASLA’s Opportunities and Events page provides users with the latest information on everything from conferences and meetings to calls for papers, requests for qualifications, consulting opportunities, and competitions. Herewith, notice of the upcoming Canadian Society of Landscape Architects Congress 2009, to be held August 13–15 in Toronto.

The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects/Association des architectes paysagistes du Canada became a formal organization in 1934, and for the past three quarters of a century the Society has been advancing the art, science, and business of landscape architecture. In August 2009, the CSLA/AAPC invites you to join us at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto, Ontario, to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the profession of landscape architecture in Canada.
Our event promises to be a memorable one as we look at our profession from a 360-degree perspective. The historical roots, the current state of the profession, and an exploration of our future will all be discussed through a series of workshops, sessions, panel discussions, and tours. Experts from across the country, together with thought-provoking keynote speakers, will challenge and stimulate our understanding of landscape architecture.
